Thursday 11th January- Swallow Lake (24 Anglers)
With the weather staying a bit cooler there was a few more anglers this week for the over 50’s open. Well Brian Thompson (Westwood Lakes) was able to show them the way from peg 2. Brian fished pellets long on the pole to catch a mixed bag to win the match with 45lb 5oz. In second was Rod Asher (Westwood Lakes) from peg 4 with 36lb 0oz. Not far behind was Geoff Waggs( Waggs Tackle) from peg 3 with 35lb 8oz.
