Strong winds hampered presentation for todays Open Match. Steve Lane (Maruyku/WWLakes) continued his fine run of form, to qualify for the two day final in August weighing 66lbs 0oz from Peg 32. Steve went for an all maggot approach to his peg, and reaped the awards of Carp, F1’s, Tench and Barbel catching from the start. In second was Shane Wilcox (Daves Peg) Peg 3 with 59lbs 12oz and in third was Spike Milligan (Garbolino Lincs County) Peg 9 with 53lbs 11oz.
