Open Match 9/10/2021 – Skylark
Mick Stamp (Westwood Lakes) took top honours on the day landing 71lb of carp and F1’s from peg 22 on Skylark. Mick has rotated a couple of lines with pellets, groundbait and maggots throughout the day to pick up odd fish and steadily build his weight up. In runner up spot from peg 18 was Ade Freeman (Westwood Lakes). Ade has fished similiar to Mick, managing to catch fish steadily throughout the day, he landed 63lb 8oz of carp and F1’s. Finally, completing the frame was Jeff Duggan (Westwood Lakes). Jeff has drawn peg 20, and caught fishing short and down the edges for a weight of 51lb!
