Todays Over 50’s Open Match was not for the faint hearted, as the wind and rain was relentless all day. Barry Hankins (Ropsley AC) found plenty of bites despite the weather, and was the run away winner with 67lbs 5oz from Peg 29. Barry fished at 11 meters in the deeper water to catch Carp and F1’s all on 4mm expander pellet over 4mm feed pellet. In second was Dave Robinson (Lincoln Vets) Peg 5 with 23lbs 0oz, and in third was Shaun Buddle (Metal Box AC) Peg 31 with 19lbs 8oz.
