With a good turn out today, the lake was going to fish hard for the amount of pressure on it. But Brian Thompson (Westwood Lakes) was able to produce a stunning weight for the conditions. Brian drew peg 28 and fished a combination of worms and paste at 8m to catch barbel and carp to weigh 62lb 4oz. In second place was Tony Evans (Westwood Lakes) on peg 35 to weigh 43lb 10oz.Not far behind was Ade Freeman (GOT Baits) with 43lb 8oz off peg 24.
