Over 50s Match 24/06/2021 – Falcon
With the cooler temperatures and the 28 anglers spread around the lake, there were lots of bites to be had for all the competitors. Taking the win from peg 15 was Rob Dawber (Westwood Lakes). Robs fished maggots short both on the bottom and shallow to land 130 F1’s for a weight of 187lb 12oz. In second position from peg 27 was Roy Wells (Westwood Lakes). Roy’s fished his favoured method feeder tactics down the middle of the lake top land large F1’s and Carp. He’s finished with a weight of 165lb 6oz. Finally, completing the frame from peg 3 was Richard Kinnersley (Westwood Lakes). Like Rob, Richards fished maggots to weigh 159lb 12oz.
