The first of the Saturday Opens started today which will now run every Saturday up to the end of October. Winner of today’s Open and qualifying for the two day final in September was Dave Taylor (Westwood Lakes) with 79lbs 3oz from Peg 12. Dave caught at the bottom of the far shelf on expander pellet over 2 mm feed pellet to catch all F1 Carp to 3lb. In second was Richard Kinnersley (Coopers Tackle) Peg 14 with 76lbs 4oz. Third placed angler was Stewart Hockerston (Westwood Lakes) Peg 20 with 61lbs 3oz.
