Even with the cold night before the match, there were plenty of bites to be had for all the competitors on the Tuesday open. Davis Gurton (Westwood Lakes) took full advantage of peg 6 to catch mainly f1s for a weight of 111lb 14oz. In second came John Taylor (Sensas Mark One) from peg 27. He’s alternated a couple of short pole lines to catch 63 f1s for 96lb 14oz. Finally, completing the frame was Damon Breen (Westwood Lakes) who’s weighed 92lb 6oz off fancied peg 5.
