Winner on the day was Tony Evans (Westwood Lakes), who’s fished maggots short and groundbait down the edges most of the day from peg 21 to land well over 80 fish for 80lb. He’s caught a majority of his fish in the first couple of hours before picking odd ones off towards the end! Taking runner up spot, was Richard Kinnersley (Westwood Lakes). Richard has fished maggots on a couple of lines from peg 5, to weigh 78lb. Finally, completing the frame from peg 20 was Roy Wells (Westwood Lakes). He’s caught on both method feeder and short pole tactics to catch F1’s steadily throughout the day for a final weight of 76lb 8oz.
