With many matches and pleasure anglers here at Westwood Lakes , we would like to keep you updated whats going on so every week on a Sunday or Monday we will be posting up a weekly calendar. With what matches are on and where is free to Pleasure fish.
Open Matches
We have 3 Open matches a week with 1 being a Over 50s Open Match. With Weights of averaging 100lb for nearly every angler and winning weights of between 100 to 200lb it something not to miss. So why dont you come on down and give it a go Tuesday and Sunday Open Matches are £20 Entry with the Over 50’s On a Thursday being £12. For all the open matches you need to be paid on 15 minutes before the draw , to make sure your guaranteed a spot. To book onto any of these matches give the lads a ring in the shop on 01205 724162 and select option 2.
Tuesday/Sunday Open Match – Draw 9am Fish 10:15am till 3:15pm
Thursday Over 50’s Open Match – Draw 8:45am Fish 10:15am till 3:15pm
Pleasure Anglers
For Pleasure fishing the gates are open at 7:30am and you must report to the tackle shop first before going to your peg. Day Tickets are £7.50 or if you are staying on site with us its £7 a day or £30 for the week (This is for pleasure fishing only and NOT matches) All Landing nets must be dipped in the dip tank before fishing.
