Sunday 21st March 2016 (39 anglers) Falcon and Hawk Lake
First round of the Westwood Lakes Teams of Three saw 39 anglers take to the banks of Falcon and Hawk lakes. With glorious spring weather, there were plenty of fish caught over both lakes. On the individual front, there was a tie for first place with Luke Morley (Stampies 3) winning Section A on Falcon lake – peg 15 and Martin Kirk (Westwood B) on Section B of Falcon Lake – peg 49. Both with 115lb 0oz.
Section C on Hawk lake saw Alan Foster (Miracle Baits) win the section from the unfancied peg 8 with 78lb 2oz.
Teams on the day were, in 1st place, Muppets on Tour with a point tally of 10 points and a combined weight of 267lb 12oz. In 2nd place was Miracle baits with 13 points and a combined weight of 247lb 12oz. In 3rd place was Garbolino RAF with 16 points and a combined weight of 148lb 10oz.
Individual results were, in joint 1st place with 115lb 0oz M Kirk (Westwood B) (Peg 49 on Section B Falcon) and L Morley (Stampies 3) (Peg 15 Section A Falcon). 3rd was L Crowland (Miracle Baits) on Peg 19 with 114lb 5oz. 4th was M Cree (Muppets on Tour) (Peg 23 Section A Falcon) with 111lb 3oz. 5th was A Swain (MAP Old Ghost) (Peg 3 Section A Falcon).
