The Westwood Lakes open match on 29th May 2016 was held on Hawk Lake and there was 17 anglers taking part.
Fishing on the old faithful of pellets and maggots, the top two anglers brought in over 100 each. First place went to Alan Foster (Miracle Baits) at peg 11 with 105lbs 8oz. 2nd was Lee Cowlan (Miracle Baits) on peg 20 with 102lbs 6oz. 3rd was Dave Taylor (WWL) on peg 12 with 86lbs 4oz. 4th saw Steve Lane on peg 15 bring in 84lb 6oz. 5th was Adam Swain (Dynamite Baits) on peg 2 with 82lbs.
