Tuesday 3rd April- Swallow Lake (14 anglers)
With Showers through out the day the anglers got a tad wet, but this didn’t put the fishing off. Mark Taylor (Westwood Lakes) has has some good chance of qualifying but has missed out on several occasions. But he didn’t today Mark fished short and down the edge on pellets to catch a good stamp of f1’s to just win the match with 87lb 12oz. Booking his place in our 5K finial! In second falling just short was Steve Goodrum (Westwood Lakes) on peg 22 catching all his on a small method feeder just off the far bank to weigh 83lb 14oz.In third was Brian Harding (Westwood Lakes) from peg 9 with 79lb 0oz.
