With the weather still staying mild it was another great turn out for open match today. Luke Morely (Burt Baits/Tri-cast) was the man of the moment today. Luke fished pellets shallow on peg 6 to catch f1’s up to 3lb to set a new lake record of 270lb 12oz! In second place was Sheffield boy Ted Wheeler (Miracle Baits) who caught shallow also from peg 3 to weigh 170lb 8oz. In third was Steve Reid (Marukyu) from peg 7 with 162lb 12oz.
