Well the first Over 50’s open match of the year took place today and John Taylor (Sensas Mark One) was the man of the moment. From peg 47 John fished at 11m with 4mm expanders to catch small f1’s and stockies, to take the match win with 57lb 12oz. In second place was Tony Evans (Westwood Lakes) from peg 6 with 34lb 12oz. Not far beind in third was Tom Wilson (Westwood Lakes) from peg 14 with 28lb 8oz.
