Well the fishery is fishing its head off even with this long run of warm weather. Davis Gurton (Westwood Lakes) proved that on today’s open, Davis has caught shallow at 5m with pellets to catch F1’s up to 3lb to take the match win with 166lb 12oz from peg 10 . In second was Mick Stamp (Preston Innovations/ Sonu Baits) from peg 16 who has caught on pellets down his edge and maggots shallow, weighing 156lb 4oz. In third was Mick Balls (Westwood Lakes) from peg 2 with 134lb 0oz.
