With the river season now come to a end, attendance for todays Open Match rose with 28 anglers taking to the banks of Skylark Lake. Westwood stalwart Steve Lane (Maruyku/WWLakes) Peg 29 made the most of his peg, winning with a clear 15lbs margin over his rivals. Steve fished red maggot over 2mm feed pellet to catch Carp, F1’s and Barbel, to take the win with 61lbs 8oz. In second was Gregor Chalat (WWLakes) Peg 8 with 46lbs 0oz, and Steve Pretty (Miracle Baits) Peg 22 third with 42lbs 0oz. Please book in for all matches.
