Not the usual turnout for the Over 50’s Open Match, but with the torrential rain many thought better of. Paul Oglesbee (Westwood Lakes) braved the elements to win from Peg 2 with 74lbs 8oz. Paul fished pellet short to catch mainly F1 Carp. In second was Ron Cuthbert (Webbs Tackle) Peg 6 with 64lbs 4oz. Third placed angler was Ade Freeman (GOT Baits) Peg 36 with 55lbs 8oz.
