Open Match Tuesday 9th November 2021 Osprey Lake

Todays Open Match was on the recently re-stocked Osprey Lake. Bites were plentiful and good weights were recorded from these ravenous small Carp that average between 1lb and 2lb. Jason Smith got the nod from peg 18 with a weight of 82lbs 14oz. Jason caught short on maggot and long on pellet. Close in second using similar tactics to Jason, was Richard Kinnersley with 81lbs 12oz from peg 9. Third placed angler was Steve Lane with 75lbs 6oz from peg 24. This lake is fishing really well since it has been re-stocked, and with it being fairly sheltered from the wind makes for a pleasant days fishing during the colder months.
