Open Match 20/4/2021 – Swallow
With some of the competitors practising for the FishOmania qualifier the day after, 25 anglers took part in the open match. Davis Gurton (Westwood Lakes) took top spot for the second week running. Davis has fished short with pellets for most on the day, to weigh a fantastic 142lb 6oz. Closely following behind in second was Jim Barrowman (Westwood Lakes). He’s fished down his edges on a couple of lines to finish up with 140lb 8oz from peg 28. Finally completing the frame was MAP backed Matty Pillay, who’s weighed 138lb of f1s and carp.
