Open Match 30/05/2021 – Hawk
Due to the other lakes being full, the Sunday Open was held on Hawk lake. Tony Evans (Westwood Lakes) stormed the field from peg 11, catching on casters shallow down the middle of the lake. He’s caught mainly carp with a few f1s for a fantastic weight of 204lb. Behind him in second was Marc Bradford (Westwood Lakes). He’s caught shallow with casters across to the reeds on peg 13 to catch f1’s in steady runs all day for a weight of 165lb 9oz. Finally, completing the frame was Sam Claydon (Westwood Lakes), from fancied peg 20 with a weight of 113lb 7oz.
