Open Match 29/08/2021 – Skylark
With the cooler mornings and most of the lake being used the fishing was always going to be tough. Richard Kinnersley (Westwood Lakes) took top honours on the day from peg 17 to weigh 65lb. He’s caught both across and down the edges to land F1’s and carp. In runner up spot from peg 7 was Tom Edwards (Daiwa UK/Advantage Baits). He’s caught in steady spells most of the day landing carp and F1’s on pole tactics. Come the weigh in, he’s finished up with 61lb 6oz. Finally, completing the frame was Mark Afford (Westwood Lakes) from peg 1 who landed mainly big carp for 61lb 4oz!
