Tuesday 14th April 2015 (14 anglers) Hawk Lake
The warm weather continues to bring the anglers out and the fish continue to eat with greater vigour. With Hawk hardly being match fished to date it could have thrown anything up. Luckily the fish played ball and fed well across the lake and all anglers registered respectable weights across the board.
First place angler was Tom Pidhorodeckyj (Westwood Lakes) with a weight of 75lb 12oz from Peg 17. Tom fished maggot across for a mainly all carp bag. Second was Brian Harding (Maver Bait-Tech) with a weight of 60lb 1oz from Peg 18. Third was Paul Oglesbee(Westwood Lakes) with a weight of 59lb 9oz from Peg 12.
Next Tuesdays Open Match is on Hawk Lake again, so limited to 20 anglers.
