Well what is this weather doing? With the weather being so up and down lately no one knows what the fishing was going to be like. But Tony Dawson (Bait-Tech) was able to snare a few big carp out! Tony fished in a foot of water across on peg 30 with pellets to catch carp up to 8lb to secure his place in the finial with 71lb 14oz. In Second was Mick Stamp (Preston Innovations/ Sonu Baits) on peg 32 with 44lb 4oz. Mick used similar tactics but caught more f1’s and skimmers. In third was Steve Lane (Westwood Lakes) who fished maggots in the deeper water across on peg 26 to weigh 30lb 0oz.
