Open Match 06/07/2021 – Falcon
With falcon producing some huge weights over the past couple of weeks, expectations were high going into the Tuesday Open Match, and it certainly didn’t disappoint! Taking the win from peg 10 was Rob Dawber (Westwood Lakes). Rob’s fished maggot tactics on the short pole to land over 150 F1’s and Carp for a fantastic weight of 211lb 8oz. In second was Jim Barrowman (Westwood Lakes) from peg 4. Jim’s caught down the edge and shallow on maggots to land F1’s and Barbel for a weight of 177lb 4oz. Finally, completing the frame from peg 18 was Jason Smith (Westwood Lakes). Jason has caught steadily all day to weigh 161lb 4oz.
