Sunday Open Match Falcon Lake 38 anglers
A fine Autumn day see 38 anglers take to the banks of Falcon Lake today. Colin Mitchell secured the win from peg 15 with 103lbs 4oz. Colin caught mainly Carp and F1’s short and down the margins late on with maggot over groundbait. In second was Westwood regular Mick Stamp with 95lbs 10oz from peg 2 using similar tactics to the winner. Third placed angler was Ricky Leggatt with 88lbs 10oz from peg 29. Special mention for Kenzie Thorndyke aged 11 winning D section from peg 52 with 58lbs 6oz. Well done young man.
