Thursday 20th February 2014 (28 anglers) Skylark Lake
With a Spring feel about the day, Skylark Lake provided some good sport for the 28 anglers taking part in todays Over 50’s Open Match. Ken Clark (WWLakes) Peg 5 was soon bagging fish, to put 58lbs 6oz on the scales for the win. Ken fished short at 6 metres on maggot and expander pellet to catch Carp, F1’s and Barbel. Ken was 20lbs clear of second placed angler Jeff Duggan (WWLakes) Peg 9, who weighed 38lbs 4oz. In third was Tom Wilson (WWLakes) Peg 33 with 32lbs 10oz.
