Over 50s Match 16/09/2021 – Falcon
Richard Kinnersley (Westwood Lakes) took top honours on the day. He drew peg 48, and managed to take advantage of the spare pegs to his right. He’s used his favoured maggot tactics on multiple short lines to land F1s and Carp. Come the weigh in, he’s totalled 146lb 12oz. Taking second spot was Paul Porter (Westwood Lakes) from peg 49. Being on the next peg to Richard, he pushed him all the way. Using similar tactics, he managed to land 134lb 4oz of F1s, Carp and Barbel. Finally, completing the frame from peg 52 was Jeff Duggan (Westwood Lakes). Jeff has fished pellets and paste on a couple of lines to land 98lb 2oz of F1s and small stockie Carp!
