With the 32 anglers spread around the lake, each competitor had a lot of room to draw fish from! Taking the win from peg 9 was Daniel Docherty (Westwood Lakes). Daniel’s fished maggot tactics on the short pole, both shallow and on the bottom to land over 100+ F1’s and Carp for a fantastic weight of 162lb 10oz. In second was Rob Dawber (Westwood Lakes) from peg 12. Rob’s used his favoured maggot tactics down the edge and shallow to land F1’s for a weight of 156lb 4oz. Finally, completing the frame from peg 48 was Stuart Davis (Westwood Lakes). Stuart has caught in spells all day to weigh 147lb.
