Thursday 2nd July – Over 50s Open Match- Falcon Lake (26 Anglers)

Good weights all round today with nearly everyone having over 100lb. Mick Stamp (Preston Innovations/Sonu Baits) took top spot from peg 18 by fishing maggots shallow to win with 232lb 8oz. In second was Richard kinnersley (Westwood Lakes) from peg 8 with 210lb 4oz. In third was George Knight (Wilsmere Lake/Burt Baits) from peg 42 with 191lb 4oz

Sunday 5th July – Open Match – Falcon Lake (24 Anglers)

Mick Stamp (Preston Innovations/Sonu Baits) is looking on good form for the up and coming Drennan over 50’s Festival by taking another match win on Falcon from peg 4 with 243lb 12oz , by fishing maggots shallow at 5m and down his edges. In second was Tom Edwards (Daiwa) from peg 42 with 206lb 8oz. In third was Roy Wells (Westwood Lakes) from peg 8 with 193lb 8oz

Tuesday 7th July – Open Match – Swallow Lake (19 Anglers)

Another big weight match for the Tuesday lads again with George Knight (Wilsmere Lake/Burt Baits) winning the match off peg 30 by fishing method on the pole short to win the match with 258lb 0oz. In second was Mick Stamp (Preston Innovations/Sonu Baits) From peg 6 with 220lb 8oz. In third was David Partridge (Westwood Lakes) from peg 7 with 193lb 12oz.

Thursday 9th July -Over 50’s Open Match- Skylark Lake (42 Anglers) 

Full sell out today with every peg in and still the average weight being 150lb. Tony Evans (Westwood Lakes) took top spot though from Peg 19, Tony fished down his edges on groundbait and maggots to win the match with 264lb 12oz. In second was Gareth Price (Westwood Lakes) from peg 32 with 226lb 8oz. In third was Janusz Kedzierski (Westwood Lakes) from peg 7 with 214lb 6oz.
