Match Equipment Hire
Due to scales, weigh nets, tripods and numerous nets being willfully damaged and stolen. All clubs and match groups will be required to bring their own scales, weigh nets and tripods to use in any of their matches booked at Westwood Lakes, or sign our new Match Equipment forms and leave a £100.00 pound refundable deposit to use our scales, weigh nets and tripods. The refundable deposit will be made by way of a credit card, which will not be processed as long as all equipment is returned in good condition. If the Equipment is damaged and cannot be repaired (i.e. it is written off) or the equipment is lost or stolen, Westwood Lakes receives an amount of £100.00 by way of the customers agreed credit card deposit or full replacement value of the equipment. Terms and conditions do apply and should be read fully before entering into Westwood Lakes equipment hire.
Terms & Conditions of use;
The loss of or damage to the Equipment as a result of any failure by the Customer to comply with these Conditions;
The customer hereby agrees to leave a deposit of £100.00 for the hire of equipment by way of a credit card. On the return of the hire equipment in good condition Westwood Lakes will not debit the customers card and all details of the customer’s card will be destroyed or given to the customer on request.
At no time will the £100.00 deposit be cashed unless the following condition occurs;
If the Equipment is damaged and cannot be repaired (i.e. it is written off) or the Equipment is lost or stolen, Westwood Lakes receives an amount of £100.00 by way of the customers agreed credit card deposit or full replacement value of the equipment.
Ownership of the Equipment remains at all times with Westwood Lakes.
The customer has no right, title or interest in the Equipment except that it is hired to the customer,
and the customer is responsible for all equipment hired.
The customer must ensure that all people using the equipment are competent in the use of the equipment.
