The first of the Bank Holiday Opens produced a 100lb+ winning catch. Greg Cooper (Matrix/Trentmen) Peg 10 fished pellet across to the island to win with 107lbs 4oz. Greg caught mainly Carp and F1 Carp to qualify for the two day final in August. In second was Lee Monnington (Mansfield) Peg 1 with 67lbs 10oz just edging Dave Wills (Miracle Baits) Peg 12 into third who weighed 65lbs 12oz.
