Swallow lake held todays Westwood Lakes open match on Tuesday, 6th June 2017. 14 anglers took part in what can be described as cold, windy and wet conditions.
Those who took part in the open today has my respect – nobody was at risk of getting sun stroke but they still battled on and Martin Kirk took first place from peg 4 and 51lbs 8oz. Second was Mick Morgan at peg 5 with 48lbs and third was Ian Sharratt on peg 16 with 35lbs 8oz.
