With warm temperatures and light winds, consistent weights were recorded across the lake making for a close match. Dave Taylor (Windmill Tackle) secured his place for the two day final from Peg 24 with 99lbs 6oz. Dave fished across to the island at 14 meters on meat to catch mainly small Carp. Marc Rodgers (Middy/Bag …Em Baits) used the same tactics for second with 93lbs 0oz from Peg 17. In third was junior Adam Swain (WWLakes) fishing pellet short for 79lbs 10oz from Peg 8.
