With high pressure in the air today the fish weren’t really in the mood for feeding, with no end of anglers saying there was fish coming into there peg and not feeding. But Steve Lane (Westwood Lakes) fished a clever match off peg 15 by fishing paste on a top kit+1 and feeding next to nothing to take the match by storm with a weight of 199lb 0oz. In second place was Matt Pillay (Map/Old Ghost) who mainly fished pellets tight across on peg 6 to weigh 109lb 12oz. In Joint third was Method Man Roy Wells (Westwood Lakes) and on form Jeff Duggan (Westwood Lakes) from peg 25 and 16 with 109lb 8oz.
