Well a muggy day has brought some iffy fishing. Richard Mellor (Orchard Park) showed everyone the way on peg 3 by fishing shallow with pellets and pellets down his margins to catch mainly f1’s to 3lb. Richard took the match with 119lb 8oz, not far behind though was Ady Gathercole (Westwood Lakes) from peg 42 with 117lb 0oz. In third was John Taylor (Sensas Mark One) from peg 28 with 114lb 8oz.
