Westwood Lakes is the perfect base to explore our county of Lincolnshire. If you
want to get out and about there are plentiful attractions and sightseeing to be done!
Firstly
if you enjoy rambling and walking at Westwood Lakes we are in an enviable position
of being adjacent to 30 acres of established woodland and adjoining a 10 acre wild
flower park owned by the Woodlands Trust.
There are also many other walks in the surrounding
area including riverside woodland park trails on the river Witham. RSPB nature reserves
based locally at Frampton and Frieston and 23 miles away at Gibraltar Point near
Skegness.
There is an abundance of fresh water fishing and golf courses to visit if
you wish.
Also diverse shopping facilities from small market towns with shops and
stalls selling all sorts of goods and items along with easy access 40 minutes to
the historic city of Lincoln with its small specialist shops based in the steep hill
area of the city to the large national chain stores in the city centre and retails
