Sunday 20th February- Skylark Lake (10 Anglers)
With high winds coming in though the night , they sure did carry on into the day making presentation for our anglers hard. But Russ Parson (Westwood Lakes) make the most of this situation by fishing long on peg 38 towards a bush on the far bank. Russ feed small balls of groundbait and fished a 4mm expander over the top to catch mainly carp, to bag his self not just the top spot with 52lb 4oz but also a place in our mega £5,000 finial. In second on the day was regular Brian Harding (Westwood Lakes) from peg 34 with 37lb 8oz. Sneaking into third was was Mark Taylor (Westwood Lakes) from peg 32 with 33lb 0oz.
