Sunday 16th July 2017- Skylark Lake (34 Anglers)
Well with the open match back on Skylark there was a lot of interest, 34 anglers came to fish the unique Skylark Lake. But Mark Cree(Dynamite Baits) was the man of the match today. Mark used groundbait and maggot tactics in the margins on peg 30 to take the win with 251lb 0oz. Not far behind is on form paste angler Steve lane(Westwood Lakes) who after Tuesday performance is still in the top 3. Steve fished paste short on a top 3 to catch carp up to 8lb to weigh 179lb 14oz from peg 13. In third was Janusz Kedzierski (Westwood Lakes) from peg 7 with 138lb 12oz. 16 of the weights today being over 100lb!!!
