Gale force winds greeted 30 hardy angler and this made the fishing exceptionally hard. The winner of the match was Steve Lane (Marukyu/Westwood Lakes) with a weight of 67lb 11oz from peg 30. Steve fished paste down the inside edge for a mainly carp bag. Second was Janusz Kedzierski (Westwood Lakes) 46lb 10oz from peg 31 and third was Mick Stamp (Preston Innovations/Sonubaits) with 39lb 5oz from peg 40.
