With a biting easterly wind blowing the fishing was very patchy in comparison to the weeks prior to this weekend, and the weights reflected this. First placed angler was Brendan Strowlger (Townsend Lakes) with a weight of 60lb 15oz from peg 30. Brendan fished 4mm pellets across over a bed of micro’s to take mainly carp . Close behind in second was Mark Critcher (Miracle Baits) with a weight of 56lb 14oz from peg 10. Third placed angler was Dan Abbott (JVAC) with a weight of 52lb 0oz from peg 11.
