With the cold nights, catches were lower for today’s Over 50’s Open Match. Less than 7lb across the top five anglers made for a close match. Roy Taylor (Westwood Lakes) got the nod with 55lbs 6oz. Roy fished 2 + 2 on maggot to catch a mixed bag of fish from Peg 19. Close behind in second was Dave Robinson (Westwood Lakes) Peg 14 just missing out by 6oz, weighing in with 55lbs 0oz. Third placed angler was Rick Tweddle (Baitech) Peg 28 with 52lbs 8oz.
