With the temperatures on the cool side, the fish had shoaled up into tight pockets around the lake. Roy Taylor (Westwood Lakes) was on Peg 9 next to the spinner for his winning catch of 53lbs 15oz. Roy caught mainly Carp to 4lb at 5 metres all on expander pellet over 2 mm feed pellet. In second was Ade Freeman (Miracle Baits) Peg 30 with 43lbs 11oz. Third placed angler was John Taylor (Sensas Mark One) Peg 41 with 36lbs 14oz.
