With a slight rise in the temperature, the fish went on the feed today in the Over 50’s Open Match. John Taylor (Sensas Mark One) secured the honours from Peg 18 with a catch of 77lbs 5oz. John fished red maggot at 11 metres to catch mainly F1 Carp. In second was Dave Robinson (Westwood Lakes) Peg 12 with 69lbs 1oz. Third placed angler was Roy Wells (JVAC) Peg 42 with 67lbs 15oz.
