Hard going for many on Skylark Lake today in the Over 50’s Open Match. Bill Whitworth (Westwood Lakes) Peg 2 made the most of his end peg draw, winning with 72lbs 2oz. Bill fished red maggot down the track and in the margins late on, to catch a mixed bag of fish. In second was Spike Milligan (Lincs County) Peg 38 with 62lbs 5oz just edging out Den Lucas (Westwood Lakes) on the next Peg 39 who weighed in 62lbs 3oz.
