Over 50s Match 18/11/2021 – Swallow
With the cooler weather beginning to set in, the fishing has become harder, however there are still plenty of bites to be had from all the species! Taking top honours on todays match was Lance (Westwood Lakes) from peg 6! Lance has started on the feeder to no avail before swapping to the short pole, and landing odd f1’s and small stockie carp for the rest of the match. He has ended up with a fantastic weight of 60lb! In second position from peg 10 was Brian Thompson (Westwood Lakes). Brain has fished both feeder and pole tactics to land mainly F1’s for a weight of 41lb 8oz. Finally, completing the frame from peg 30 was Ray Morland (Westwood Lakes) who has weighed 35lb 14oz!
