Steve Lane (Westwood Lakes) took a convincing win from peg 7 with a fabulous weight of 158lb 2oz. Steve has fished his favoured paste tactics on a couple of short pole lines to land big F1’s and Carp. Second position went to Richard Kinnersley (Westwood Lakes). Richard has fished down the edges most of the day from peg 26 to land mainly big carp for a weight of 138lb 2oz; narrowly beating Rob Dawber (Westwood Lakes) who amassed a weight of 134lb from peg 22. Like Richard, Rob has fished down the margins with corn and groundbait.
