We were once again met with freezing cold weather conditions, and the anglers were unsure as to how the lake was going to fish. As it proves, Ryan lidgard (Westwood Lakes) put in a fantastic performance from peg 23 to weigh 149lb 14oz of mainly big f1’s. He’s caught down the edges using groundbait, pellets and maggots to land well over 100 fish. In second was Jim Barrowman (Westwood Lakes) from peg 17. Jim’s alternated a couple of lines to keep a steady run of fish coming throughout the day. He’s ended up with 133lb 4oz. Finally, from fancied peg 5, Roy Wells (Westwood Lakes) has caught all his fish on a feeder to weigh 102lb 12oz for 3rd in the match.
