Open Match 16/11/2021 – Osprey
Due to the de-silting starting on the other lakes, this Tuesdays open match was put on Osprey! With the new small Carp and original F1s in the lake, it guarantees bites for all the anglers! Taking the top spot was Andy Mitchell (Westwood Lakes), Who has caught 50+ F1s with a few of the new Carp all on the short pole to weigh 62lb 4oz from peg 14. In second position was Jason Smith (Westwood Lakes) from peg 17 who has fished across to the far shelf, to steadily land fish throughout the day. He’s ended up with a weight of 59lb 6oz, just pipping Danny Pettigrew (Westwood Lakes) into the final framing place with 58lb 10oz!
