With the warm weather finally making an appearance, there were lots of bites to be had for all the competitors. Taking the win from peg 24 was Dean Richmond (Westwood Lakes). He’s fished short with maggots and groundbait to land big f1s and carp for a fantastic weight of 186lb 14oz. In Second was Roy Wells (Westwood Lakes). Roy’s fished both feeder and pole tactics on fancied peg 6 to weigh 159lb 6oz; just pipping George Knight (Westwood Lakes) into 3rd with 150lb 8oz from peg 4.
